Group Director and Senior Associate Dean, Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, SingHealth Duke-NUS; Singapore

Professor Tan Kok Hian is Group Director & Senior Associate Dean, SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute for Patient Safety & Quality (IPSQ). He initiated the SingHealth Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN) and serve as an advisor. He is the inaugural Chair of National Quality Council in June 2017, which serves as the national advisory panel to Singapore MOH on health quality priorities and strategies. Professor Tan is a member of the SHINe Council. Professor Tan is a member of the expert of Patient Safety in World Health Organisation and serves as a WHO consultant in patient safety. Professor Tan is also awarded the Benjamin Henry Sheares Professorship by Duke-NUS for his outstanding contributions in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
