The SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute for Patient Safety & Quality emphasizes 3 key leadership attributes for building local organization culture of patient safety. These are the “3Cs” for leaders for building a proactive, generative patient safety culture, and promoting effective technical and adaptive changes in a contextual environment: Communication, Co-Creation & Conflict Resolution.
The strengthening of patient safety and quality culture requires a virtuous patient safety and quality ecosystem that takes time and constant efforts to develop.
