Senior Manager Patient Safety and Capability, Health Quality Safety Commision; New Zealand

Caroline Tilah is the Commission’s senior manager, safety systems and capability within the Quality Systems Group. Caroline is a registered nurse with a postgraduate qualification in occupational health and has completed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s quality improvement advisor training. She has worked in health for thirty years and prior to starting at the Commision she was the executive director operations for the quality improvement and patient safety directorate at Capital & Coast District Health Board. Her focus is how we collectively strengthen systems that enable quality health for all within Aotearoa.
