Sue is a nurse and midwife with over 40 years’ experience working in health systems in Australia, UK and Ethiopia. Sue has worked in many different health settings, including the RFDS in WA, Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health, and several senior executive positions in Sydney and London. She has also served on the NSW Nurses and Midwives Council and Board. Sue has experience in clinical redesign and project management, aimed at matching a skilled workforce with acuity and activity. Sue is passionate about safety in healthcare, nurturing the workforce for the future and improving workplace culture and the wellbeing of staff. Looking after staff, supporting them with compassion and providing education that empowers them to face the challenges, facilitates their ability to provide excellent, patient focussed care, every day.
