Group Chief Quality Officer, National Healthcare Group; Singapore

Associate Professor Tai Hwei Yee, Chief Quality Officer, National Healthcare Group (NHG) and former Senior Advisor of SHINe, and former Executive Lead, LSI – Reduce Harm in Patients. A/Prof Tai has broad experience in healthcare as a physician, a hospital administrator and an educator. She is the Chief Quality Officer for National Healthcare Group (NHG). Hwei Yee has been a Senior Consultant anaesthesiologist and intensive care physician in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) for more than 28 years. She helped to establish the patient safety framework at TTSH and NHG, and was a faculty member for patient safety training and clinical quality improvement programs in Singapore and in the region. She helped to lead and support multiple improvement initiatives, including collaborations on Medication Safety, High Alert Medications, and Critical Lab Results.
