Farhana Rahman

Farhana Rahman is a General Practitioner based in London. She works across the public (NHS) and private sectors and has a specialist interest in Lifestyle Medicine. She writes about health holistically at Happy Wise Well, and passionately advocates for these approaches to be inclusive and adaptable to people’s individual needs and diverse backgrounds.


She undertook her undergraduate studies at University College London, completing her medical degree and BSc in Medical Anthropology in 2008. She trained across a wide variety of medical specialties before pursuing her calling, working directly with the community around her as GP. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, singing, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
