Assistant Director of Improvement, The Health Foundation; England

Tim Horton is Assistant Director of Improvement at the Health Foundation, where he leads the Foundation’s Insight & Analysis Unit. His work is focussed on identifying and sharing the learning from the Health Foundation’s programs and supporting the spread of health care innovation and improvement. From 2011 to 2015, Tim was health policy adviser to the Leader of the Opposition and Head of Public Services at the Labour Party, and prior to this he was Research Director at the Fabian Society. He has worked in a variety of public policy roles, including as a policy adviser on science and innovation at the UK Treasury. He has a PhD in music cognition.
