Quality Improvement Advisor, Somerset NHS FT; England

Andrea is a quality improvement advisor at Somerset NHS FT who has made it her mission to help the NHS better use evidence, knowledge and best practice in quality improvement. In 2019 the QI evidence service in Somerset won the Collaboration Award at the Institute of Continuous Improvement in Public Services, and came 2nd in the HSJ Support Service of the Year category. More recently Andrea has led the national Evidence 4 Quality Improvement Q Exchange winning project. Before joining the NHS Andrea spent 13 years in the private sector as a management consultant and senior manager. She has an MBA from London Business School, an MA in Law from Oxford and is in the final year of her PhD which explores the role of management consultants in the NHS.
