Prof Rachel A Elliott is a health economist and UK-registered pharmacist, and Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. She is Professor of Health Economics at, and Deputy Director of, the Manchester Centre for Health Economics, University of Manchester, and was Co-Director of the Manchester Clinical Trials Unit until 10/20. She has secured over £28 million of grant funding, leading complex trials and economic evaluations with medicines safety and quality a key research theme. Her research has informed UK policy change in the NHS, Department of Health and NICE.
