Axel Wolf

Axel Wolf is a full professor in anaesthesia nursing at the OsloMet University in Oslo, Norway and the vice head for Innovation, Digitalisation and Utilisation at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Axel has an executive MBA degree from the University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics & Law and a PhD in healthcare science from the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg.
He is affiliated to GPCC. His research taps into different aspects of Person-centred healthcare services: exploring the organisational prerequisites of implementing person-centred care, Patient- and Public Involvement (PPI), mobile eHealth & Peer-to-Peer platforms.
Dr Wolf is the chair for the European standardisation committee (CEN/TC450) on patient involvement in healthcare services, with the aim to create favourable structural conditions for person-centred care on a European level.
