Sofia Segersson is 29 years old and has had type 1 diabetes since she was 15 years old. She found herself alone, scared and frustrated in a new reality that felt unfair. Today, she works full time to improve the lives of those (mainly young people) who share the same diagnosis.

She is the community manager at DIAMIGO and can really see and feel the good it does every day – and often reflects on how her fifteen-year-old self could have really needed something similar in that hospital bed many years ago.
