Maria Bjerstam is educated as a physiotherapist and has worked with health promotion and prevention in healthcare system for the past 20 years. Maria has extensive experience of coordinating work and various types of process-oriented work within Region Skåne’s healthcare system.

The main work has been in the health promotion area as well as work with implementation, knowledge management and control and management processes in health care. Today Maria works as an innovation manager for supporting the health system in innovation such as digitization, processes, system transformation and to bring together business solutions with the needs in the healthcare.
