Healthcare is under extreme pressure to improve patient safety and experience of care by improving flow through our systems. This session takes us on a tour across the UK sharing examples of innovation and data driven quality improvement focussed on improving flow and outcomes in prehospital care settings, Emergency Departments, and inpatient settings.

Core themes around leadership, use of real time data, proactive approaches towards risk and strong collaboration and partnership across boundaries will run throughout.

We will end the session by introducing a new “Improving Flow” Community of Practice hosted by NHS England and the Futures platform.
