This presentation will address how physician and operational leadership dyad partners can embed equity into leadership practices to engage and empower care teams; create safe environments for meaningful discussions around equity, inclusion and belonging; and make equity discussions part of daily routines with staff and patients to drive equitable care.


After this session, participants will be able to: 



  • Apply an equity lens to all facets of running and improving a clinical or support services department

  • Engage team members and physicians in psychologically safe conversations about workplace equity

  • Identify potential inequities in current care delivery processes and generate solutions to eliminate them
