During this workshop we will address the issue of diagnostic errors, practice safety netting advice in role-playing and share experiences of how healthcare staff and patients can collaborate in proactive safety netting to reduce the risk of diagnostic errors in primary care.

After this session, participants will be able to: 

• Discuss factors contributing to diagnostic errors


• Apply safety netting advice to mitigate the risk of diagnostic errors


• Increase their knowledge of how a safety netting intervention can be co-created by patients, healthcare staff and researchers
