In this session we will explore the connection between sustainability and healthcare, and how this is linked to quality and safety. We’ll share new ways to see waste, to exnovate what doesn’t add value to health and care, and we’ll share tools to lead to a more sustainable and healthy future. We’ll share examples from Denmark and globally on paths that leaders and staff can take to improve quality and safety while building a healthier environment for us all.   We will share concrete actions – for all, at systemic, organizational, and individual levels.

After the session, participants will have tools to support the vital sustainable transition we all need to make. Through concrete examples of more sustainable consumption within healthcare, participants will see the connection between sustainability, patient safety and quality, and the organizational leadership tools needed in order to secure all three elements in future healthcare.
