Quality improvement constitutes a key part of the national strategy to deliver safe and high-quality care in Scotland, Denmark and Norway. Educational programmes have been established to support the development of improvement knowledge and skills across staff groups to support the use of improvement methods in care delivery settings. In this workshop we share how we have developed and delivered educational programmes, including some of the challenges we have faced, the lessons we have learned, and the impact these educational interventions have had on the quality and safety of healthcare in our countries.
