In-person and online attendance at Copenhagen 2023

For a second consecutive year, we are offering the opportunity to attend the International Forum in-person and online.

The online programme would be a smaller programme consisting of selected sessions taking place in Copenhagen and live-streamed from the venue.

Registration and payment

Our individual and group rates are applicable to all delegates, with special discounts for:

  • Students in full-time education
  • Residents of Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LMCs) and Lower-Income Countries (LICs)

All our prices are in GBP and are inclusive of Danish VAT at 25%.

All bookings should be made online and are payable by credit/debit card or cheque. If you wish to pay by cheque please contact events@bmj.com. We can only issue invoices for groups of five or more people from the same organisation.

Group bookings

Groups attending in person can save between 10% and 15% on individual delegate rates and accelerate their learning as a team. Booking as part of a group does not only allow you to save on your delegate fees but also gives an opportunity to maximise your experience and your organisation’s exposure at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.

  • Group savings apply when a minimum of 5 or more individuals from the same organisation register at the same time
  • Group bookings are available for the 2-day (Tuesday 16 – Wednesday 17 May 2023) or the 3-day (Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 May 2023) packages only and must be made online.

 

If you are bringing a group of 10 or more individuals, we invite you to offer a complimentary ticket to a patient representative. If you wish to take up this offer, once you have paid for your group booking, please email Rachel Buss at rbuss@bmj.com with the patient’s full details and a short description of their role as a patient representative.

Student and teacher scholarships

We are offering a limited number of scholarships and special discounts for students in full-time education and teachers to attend the International Forum. These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please note that all teacher discounted places have now been filled.

These discounts are applicable to our three main conference days registration fees only and are not applicable for travel, accommodation or other costs associated with attending the conference.

Early Bird rates are not available for our special discount packages.

To apply for the discounted student places, please send one of the following to Rachel Buss at rbuss@bmj.com:

  • A copy of your student card which clearly displays the date of validity in numerical form
  • An official letter issued by the Dean of your university confirming you will be in full-time education at the time of the conference you are booking (15-17 May 2023)
  • If your application is successful, you will be provided with further instructions on how to register with our student rates

Lower-Middle-Income and Low-Income Countries rates

We do have a limited number of places for delegates who are residents of and working in Low-Income and Lower-Middle-Income countries to attend the International Forum for the two or three-day conference at a reduced registration rate. Only delegates from Low-Income (LICs) and Lower-Middle-Income (LMCs) countries qualify for our discounted rates. Please check the World Bank country classification to see if you are eligible.

Please note that these discounts are applicable to our standard individual registration fees only and are not applicable for travel, accommodation or other costs associated with attending the International Forum.

Early Bird rates are not available for our special discount packages.

How to register:

There is no application process.

When registering, please select to register as a delegate and enter your full address on the booking details page as this will be used to verify your registration.

The discounted rate will be automatically applied when you choose a country listed as LMC or LIC on the World Bank country classification list while filling in your personal details.

As allocated places are limited, discounts will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You may be contacted to provide proof of residency.
